About the author:
Osher Chaim Levene is a British-born writer and educator. A graduate of Gateshead and Mir Yeshivos, he is the director of Orah, a women’s program of Torah classes in London.
His published works include Jewish Wisdom in the Numbers (co-written with Rabbi Yehoshua Hartman, ArtScroll, 2013), People of the Book: From Adam to Yehoshua, Biblical Personalities of the Torah, Targum/Feldheim, 2007) and Set in Stone: The Meaning of Mitzvah Observance (Targum/Feldheim, 2004).
His popular articles and scholarly essays appear in multiple international Jewish publications and many of his Torah classes are featured online. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) business degree from The City University, London, and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He currently lives with his wife and children in northwest London.
